Default Perfect masters group party

I have discovered a perfect masters group party that has just allowed me to complete Nahpui Quarter in 19:48, which is a full 10:12 minutes below the standard masters requirement . its a very simple build, heres how it goes.

2 tanks
one mm
2 monks (preferably 1 protect 1 heal)
3 nukers

every time i go for masters i use this build, and it works every time unless somebody quits out of the group. With this we also completed temple in about 16:35. the most important part of this build is the 3 nukers, and it helps a lot if the mm brings br. you could sub out one of the tanks for a ranger if you need, but only on missions that you need to have a puller on.

good luck

Masters reward is 25minutes, not 30 =X

I got 12-13minutes with 4 assassins, 1 warrior, 1 orders necro and 2 monks.
Then at another time I got 12:32 with 2 warriors, 2 assassins, 1 ranger, 1SS/Orders necro and those same 2 monks

=X

If you want to cut your recordtimes, MM are never the answer, the damage is just too slow/tiny to compare with the spikings of assassins, the brutal slaughtering of warriors and the perforating of the rangers, all being powered by the necromancer.

Nukers are only support. They cannot outdamage anything because they need all their targets to be close together. In Naphui, almost none of the essence minibosses move. All enemies are too spread out and a tank can hardly manage to group things up because he gets snared or KDed as he moves in.

If you have 4-5 single target, highly mobile slaughterers then you can take out targets one by one without having to group them up.

Also, a major cut in time is when you charge the last boss. An MM can't just tell his minions to attack a specific target. Eles have to start casting their skills but 5 melee or ranger attackers can take out the last boss before the casters even start casting X.x

Also, nukers. I assume you're talking about meteor shower?
3 nukers, i'd have to admit, would be massive damage. But as I said, stuff doesn't group together easily in naphui.

PS also, the beauty of the melee/ranger stuff/orders necro is that you don't need that much planning, you just let the tank move in first and then everything else charges in once aggro is locked. Even if a monster targets an assassin or whatever, it will be dead before it can do dangerous damage.

If I'm going for masters, I get damage over tanks.

2 monks
1 tank
1 mm(depending on mission)
1 echo ss
1 rit/r spirit spammer with edge of extinction (depending on mission)

the remaining two slots I take either nukers or barragers, both are good damage, but to be honest, echo ss with awaken the blood is just so much crazy damage I don't even care.

don you can get masters with 29:59. and to me the minions arent so much of a dmg dealer but as tanks and distractions to the mob.

That's really interesting agk512...considering just last week I completed it with all hench in 25:04 and DID NOT get masters. Then the next trip in I completed it in 24:48 and got masters.

What does that tell me? < 25 minutes = Masters.

masters time varies with missions. >.> pretty sure it works that way. and also, gyala hatchery works on how many turtles u have alive, so some of these masters builds wont work 4 that

It is correct that the maximum time allowed for masters varies by mission (Gyala Hatchery and Eternal Grove excluded), however since the mission mentioned in the OP was Nahpui (and Tahnnakai as an afterthought) it should be assumed that all posts refer to that mission unless otherwise stated.

For masters groups, try to get everyone to bring a self heal so that way monks won't run out of energy quickly and you can keep moving on to the next group. Or exchange mm for battery for the nukers and monks.

I helped some people I know in a hybrid pug team, 30mins xx seconds, standard reward, no expert, no masters, 1 sword standard.

Then again at something like 28 mins, expert reward, still no masters.

If 30mins would be masters reward then ANet really doesn't seem to have any faith in its players x.x
